rubber lovin'
"baby just this once, i promise i will ejaculate outside" is what he says to you and then the debate with yourself begins. "Should I? Should'nt I? Oh well its just this once and i'll take the morning after pill anyway" and with that said you've already lost the battle to condom wars.
Sex is overrated but its a good thing. An unplanned pregnancy and STI's could easily be avoided but some of us prefer 'skoon baps'. We all know of the consequences of unprotected sex yet some of us still walk in the dark, refusing to see reality for what it is. HIV/AIDS is affecting everyone and surprisingly there are people who couldn't be bothered.
A while back when i was at CLICKS - East Gate, the male cashier gave me a rather "upside down look", I could already tell that he had long finished judging me and i felt embarrased. I felt like i was doing something wrong and would be punished for it. It was only after a while that I looked at him in the eyes with no shame or disgust and was actually proud of myself - a young woman in her 20's taking control of her sex life! Only a few women have the courage to face workers of any store because apparantly "its the guys duty to purchase the condoms". No woman should feel that way
What is so wrong and shameful about being able to protect yourself? So what if you're specific about what kind of rubber you want. I'm a young woman living in South Africa were HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancies are a reality. I may not be the victim but im sure affected by it. I have a choice when it comes to my body and i will not trust another person with my life. I choose to make wise desicions and live with the consequences. Always Condomise!
